K sports painted at fitted to the mak

Hi all,

Thought I'd wang up some pics if my new k sport fronts, courtesy of Ryan!!.

They were a bit grubby when they arrived and also gold (beggars can't be choosers) and I thought this would look pretty gash against the red car, white wheel colour scheme, so I busted out the paint brushes and got cracking with the high temp paint.

Here are some pics of before, during and after.

Please excuse the slightly dodgy paint (I'm going to do them again) and dirt wheels.

The ps3 controller is for size comparison for my non evo mates

I also fitted some braided lines and flushed the system with dot 5.1 while I was at it.

They look great and the colour suits perfect, good job done but for pics and to really show off your work clean the wheels so we can see the contrast:awesome:

I wanted to clean the wheels while they were off but it was raining and I was pushed for time. I'm guna give the whole car a clean this week so ill get some better pics then.

How much better than the standard Brembos are they?

Hard to gudge really as only driven a few miles. With the ds2500 pads they seem to get better with a bit if heat. After doing 2 60-0's it locked the fronts the 2nd time so plenty of bite in them as my standard brembos wouldn't have done that.

Ill update this thread after I've lived with them for a bit n seen what's what.
