K&N Typhoon Induction kit on SST Model

Hi,

I want to get the K&N Typhoon kit for my X but have read somewhere that it is not fitting the SST model as the bracket that need to be mounted on the transmission housing wont fit due to the SST housing being larger then the manual.

Has anyone come across this/fitted it on an SST?

Yes fella the bracket won't fit but not needed as its firm enough without ,saying all that I've just taken mine off due to over boost with exhaust etc and not wanting to map it ,I'll be selling the K&N except the top intercooler pipe as I'm keeping cos its red lol but let me know if ya interested ,all fittings instructions etc ,see my profile pic :razz:
