hi ya as some know im getting my car ready to sell and some of you know the reason why so thought id show you how my car is at mo, car will be up on axle stands wed and getting the prep work done, rear bumper is nearly finished being primed up, front bumper is in bits at mo so that can get a clean up, interior was out so i could power wash the carpet and sort a few things but thats all back in now looking good but as i said this is how she sits at mo.
bonnet is coming off on wed to have some work done, gonna be a busy couple of days.

my daughter has arthritis in her eyes, and most of her lower body joints, need to sell the car to clear some money and get a car that is better for her. Im calling in all the help i can as money is tight at mo so got a friend to come spray the car, got another friend helping me get the paint, and a few others to help do some paint work on the mesh and other parts and give her a good clean.
Once the work is done it will be up for £7800 ono

alisha doesnt want me to sell the evo she loves it, and the missus knows i wont be happy when its gone but understands the reason as it will hep us as a family.

back on topic had a guy who wanted to come see the car but lived 6 hrs away and wanted info on the car so told him all the info he wanted and only thing stoping him was the condition of the bodywork so thats why im doing al the work which i really didnt want to do.
im taking the wheels off and gonna give them a good clean and see how they come up if they need doing then ill do them. worst case i but it back to standard ish, standard power and exhaust etc and sell all the parts and wait till next august to get rid of it.

cheers mate, after everything calms down you never know i might get another evo but thats a long way off at mo, got years of taking alisha to hospitals for injections and meds yet.

cheers for the offer mate, car is preped now for paint and i got the paint yesterday, colour, hardner and lacquer for £63 for a litre of each. car is getting painted sunday and rear bumper which was the worst ( someone painted over the original paint without keying it up hence why paint was flaking off) will be done by next wed then its just a good clean and advertise it everywhere and prepare for the tyre kickers.

hopefully everything will go ok once its done but i know there are gonna be a few twats around.
been getting all the little bits together now, screws and clips etc, im turning into geof and being a bufty ive put all my nuts and bolts in vinegar and leaving them to soak for a few days but most of them all ready look like new just the exposed front bumper ones that are taking their time but even these have started to clean up. im taking the bonnet raisers off as most peeps dont like them and managed to get the front badge off in one piece so i can paint it again.
