Great day at powerstation the car made 406bhp and 381lb torque and there's room for .5 of boost to be added if I want it so I'm chuffed ;)

well done mate! Been away for a while so lost track of this, glad you got the results you wanted . Bet it drive's well with that power! Nice and userable. :)

nice one Jonny - good numbers there.

400/400 would have been ace but thats just being ultra picky!

I bet it pulls like a dream.

If I ever find any spare cash down the back of the sofa I'll get mine moving along too.

Always seems to be something eatting my cash at the moment :(

PS. Did I miss the pictures of the glowing mani

Update

Its been a while since I posted in my build thread and Ive had a few additions like carbon skirts, carbon bonnet, boot and a wing..and after my mate and I finished the wing I gave it a wash ....ive taken piccys for a how to fit a GT wing but they will have to wait but for now.....
Also had a tweak of the map on a recent trip to indigo and much happier with the torque figure 405 bhp / 425 ft/lb

Just waiting on a few more bits of carbon like front wings and doors :D

i think its had a positive effect on rear but a negative on front end turn in feels really slow?

It's a matter of taste I guess but can't make my mind up on the wing to be honest but rest of the car looks great.

bhp/torque looks spot on though Jonny, great setup

Been a while since I updated this thread so though id pop a little update on….
with the car running a nice steady 400ish/400ish all went well for a while until a night out playing lead to disaster for the back end :(

Diff

Prop carrier

Prop

Whats was left of diff carrier

So after this little incident me and a mate fitted a RS diff, Prop and driveshafts, while the car was off the road I decided to pop a few more carbon bits on the car and took delivery of some RE30's and a set of CE28s,numerous suspension upgrades and a roll cage was added in to the mix .

Here's a few pics of the build as it went along..excuse the image quality as they were taken with mobiles in a dusty, low lit barn.

and the finished car …

interior shots

and a Banzai mag front cover to top the year off

i did a few shows and had car of the show a few times at jap show and players, then on a personal note things went a little downhill and i was diagnosed with cancer. After a long and not to fun chemo session im back and proud to say in 100% remission, so now im back to building the car :whistling:
