Ive ordered some as you know !!!
Im at a turning point in the cars development......
After the RR day and the dissapointing figures due to re-map etc, the car was re-mapped but not dynod Ant@IndigoGT did the map and he estimated a 400/400 car I still have some surge due to the HKS SSQV II leaking boost, however 400/400 seems to be the norm these days, im looking for the 500 mark as a finishing point.
Ive ordered a Ross sport manifold and a 3 " elbow and downpipe but im in two minds which intercooler to go for to get the best out of it ? bearing in mind I will eventually be adding a bigger turbo and forging the engine (It will be done over time so as to enjoy the car at different stages).
I have the AVC-R black waiting to go in also which should give me better boost control, a new dumpvalve has been ordered to cure the surge, im also hunting a Koyo rad too.
Breaks will also be sorted this year.
Im after info on whats going to serve me best intercooler wise the Greddy or the Spec-R ? Will it be worth the intercooler at this point ?
Best intercooler wouls be a spec-r jobbie and it would come with all the hardpipes as well and best of all you don't need to have your bumper cut:wtf: This has been developed by Pete and Mark Shead of MaDevelopments
You don't need a koyo rad but Peter could make you a spec-r custom jobbie so it would all be spec-r under the lid and look very nicebut as said your standard rad would be more than upto the job. Heres a pic from spec-r with a 800+ brake with a standard rad on
