Hey i done a bit more today, but when i fired her up i heard a tapping sound, like metal touching metal..
Any clues as to what it might be??

what had you been working on?

did you do an oil change? or bleed the lifters? as it might be them filling back with oil. Have you done a belt change, are you sure the timing was correct? Without hearing it, its a little hard to work out what it might be, how bad does it sound? can you rotate the crank by hand?

We were bleeding the brakes (new brembos) and put in some new racing fluid.
Put turbo pipes on aswell, that was a bit of a pain. Ive really got to put pics up, been sooo busy.. :whistling:

Few more updates people..

Been working on her quiet a bit now..

Here are her new stoppers..

They should be great, specially with the yellow stuff pads.

LOVELY!!
she runs great, sounds awsome and hopefully will do us proud when we take her Castle Coombe to rally day tomorrow!!

Just a quick update..

Castle coombe was brilliant, had great fun.

Got some decent pics, will post at bottom

Working on moving battery back and air filter forward as per pic below to let my turbo breath more..

Quick ques mate, what did u use to put battery back?? Any supports?? Or was their nothing extra holding battery in place??
