I agree that there is nothing stopping anyone organising a meet and show HOWEVER...... forums have either an events organiser or regional organisers. If I remember rightly we had a events organiser that only 'advertised' events that another well known forum attended, and when a 'official' regional rep was mentioned the tears began to stream. A one person refrence is what is needed and the staff between them organise and inform members because we are all like sheep and follow. If there is no interest from staff to keep this forum going and attending events then its a sad day indeed. Am I wrong in thinkin that staff become staff because they give a $#1t and not just because they want a ban button at their disposal. If the current event coodinator is no longer active in the role why has someone else not ben seeked.
And before the comment 'well if you care so much why dont you do it' comes out of anyones mouth, I am far too busy and dissorganised to do it, end of and dont want a ban button.
So add fuel to the fire, get the show season going and get this place lively again!!!

You ain't got any mates! So you better hope the forum keeps alive pmsl! I also think it is better going to shows and meets as a group/forum.. It looks better and more people seem to attend. It would be a shame to just let evoowners fall apart but then you do have to give the people what they want I guest...

No disrespect but I've seen this happen before with evo-nuts now they hardly ever go to shows or post on the bloody forum even but it's a close nit of friends that occasionally meet up and stay in contact.
This site is far too good and friendly to not attend shows /meets as a forum, else people will just move on and also New members need to see us as old ones sell up and the forum goes tits up
