My Charade never used to cut either, standard they are known to hit 9000 revs and for a 993cc 12v turbo charged engine that is saying something!

I think this is something for Russ,Jamie or Sponners buddy as mapping is not my thing.

The Evo's have been known to hit 9000 revs without the cut and that is through the delimiter. I do not think that your ECU is stock.

I think it was a little on the slow side buddy but not by much.

The thing with hitting 9000 revs does not necessarily mean a better delivery output on the power.

With a little more experience I am sure you can shave a fraction off the time.

The book time on the VI TME is 12.1 seconds believe it or not.

13.5 upwards is a safe bet!

Depends on the driver and the weather conditions too.

just got back from pod weather was great altho started to rain when i left ran 14.3 at 110mph but a strange thing is happening my revs go right round to 9000 thats well past the red and the engine doesnt struggle or does the rev limiter cut in,any ideas?there are also 5 wires hanging out of my ecu i asked a guy there today an he said its possibly the wires for a re-map and suggested that it had been re-mapped again any info on this guys?

hi mate my mates car when he had it dyno and looking at his chart his car redline at 8000rpm and the engine lost power at 7500rpm and it lost almost 100bhp so i wouldnt always go to the red line of the car,plus thats why you had a slow time, i have run my one and got 13.3 my running a 5 ecu 1.2 bar of boost, fuel pump, exhaust ,air filter ,de cat and a heavy right foot.also red lining your engine is not good for her!!!! but well done for even running her most people get worried that it will go bang.

no steve mlr is fine i woz a massive member of another club and they didnt like the evo/subaru banter and admin kept changing my posts to suite them selves till i questioned them and they said they never changed my posts and basically called me a liar i dont tell lies or need to tell lies for any reason, this resulted a few arguments over a few weeks so i took the club sticker off my car and i said i had done this on face book 10 mins later i waz banned from the site im not into sh it stiring so i wont name the club ..:: www.WWJPC.co.uk ::.. whoops
