hi all

a friend of a friend asked me to look at his vw transporter 2.5 tdi as it just stopped running ???

on inspection it turnerd out that it had snapped the diesal pump belt on the back of the engine :O(

looking closer it had also snapped the cam belt on the front of the engine :O(

not a good sign :O(

and the final nail in the coffin was when i removed the rocker cover to find the cam in 4 pieces

i could not believe it never seen any engine snap a cam in more than 1 place :O)

so if your cam belt is due then please change it :O)

what ever you drive

.
