Apparently a scientist was conducting a radar related research project when he noticed that the chocolate bar in his pocket had melted. He decided to carry out an experiment and placed popcorn kernels near the machine and watched in amazement when they began to pop!
The next day he tried again, this time with an egg. A colleague joined him to see the outcome. When the egg began to shake, his colleague stepped closer, the egg exploded in his face!!!
He had inadvertently invented/discovered the microwave. The first production batch were over 5 feet tall and weighed almost half a tonne. They sold like hot cakes for $5000 a piece.
Don't know why I am telling you this
Any other "Is it???" stories you would like to add???
