There is no story as it doesnt exist.
I would expect that to be the next incarnation but this is apple, anything could happen!

Had a 3G, never bothered with the 3GS, got a 4 now and not going to bother with the 4S, I'll wait for the 5 to come out.

Has some very good new features which I'm glad about being a 3gs user lol

Also the mention of iPhone 5 Calder also be confused with apple also releasing the new iOS 5 software today as well. Info about this is on apple.com

Got a 3GS skipped the 4 and waited for the next one which I'll pre order on the 7th., big upgrade over the 3GS

Yeah, you're right, the 5 ended up really being the 4S, but their next incarnation of the iPhone will be the 5 no doubt. Just like it went 3G, 3GS, 4....

Now it will probably be the 4, 4S and the 5 next. Basically, I'm holding out for the next one, or whatever is newer when my contract ends in 13-14 or so months. Currently on an 18 month, £35 a month contract.
