Decided to do a green black colour conversion on my iphone 4. Love the result!

Did it myself, was quite easy tbh.

£36 for a digitizer and back off ebay. Good quality and uk seller.

Doing a pink one for the Mrs this week. She's due an upgrade so I'm going to have that off her, sell my green 4 then convert a the new 4s to red and black with black chassis frame.

Easy to do then? What do you need?

Not easy but quite manageable. Lots of small screws and Fiddly bits to deal with.

You need a tiny pentelobe screw driver, equally tiny Philips screw driver, a spudger and loads of patience!!

Was looking at these too as the black is too boring. Was going to do mine yellow

To be fair there are loads of sellers on eBay. Fembabs delivered quick and quality was good.

A spudger is a plastic pry tool. Some sellers supply tools with kits. The newer iPhones have pentalobe screws in the bottom. They're like torx screw only rounded.

Looks good. It was supposed to have a black frame around the screen and back but the seller sent the wrong one. Still vary pleased with it.
