Intercooler pipes

Iv got a standard intercooler on my 9 with up rated pipes hks ones from the look of it were on the car when I brought it looking at buying a intercooler will most or all fit these pipes?

you going for big power then mate? Would of thought your's would be good to 400_450?

unless your looking at getting the ams intercooler the std one is good enough

but to answer your question yes the pipes will fit. they should be made to just replace the std unit. only thing maybe to change is the connectors. check dimensions of existing pipework to intercooler. I've got 3"pipes to a 2.5" opening on the intercooler so need reducers. but its not complicated to change

Do not get carry away by the previous comments, lots of choices for intercooler in the market. Some will fit the hks hardpipes with a bit of a fiddle,some will not though. So check with the manufacturer if the hks pipes will fit with their intercooler before you make any assumptions.


I could suggest a few units that will fit the hks pipes. I'll just use though the one mentioned above, the AMS new unit.

Nice how much did you pay mate easy fit with the hks?
