If its an age issue then get insured through direct line on your parents and add yourself as a named driver or better yet why don't you get the car up to scratch and get shot of it????
You got it cheap enough, you can get allot more back on it and go for something a little less conspicuous for a year or two, build up the no claims and save a little on the side and before we know it:
You might the best Evo out the lot of us!!!
Well maybe not the lot of us but you know what I mean right???

Get some sleep buddy.

I was going to recommend Adrian Flux but in my opinion they are a bit on the High side. On the plus though, they even insure with just a chassis number which is great if the car is fresh and has no plates.
I presume that quote was given whilst taking your history into consideration???

If you want to then go for it, otherwise take the advise I gave you earlier mate.
It will be better in the long run.

Can you take a moment of your time to reply to 2 of my threads???

They are entitled:
Me My Evo & I
Calling All Evo Owners.

Thanks buddy

well i cant decide what to do that insurance qoute is good for me and i dont wanna miss the chance to drive an evo my missus thinks i shuld keep my passat turbo but i always wanted an evo.
yea the qoute is taking all into consideration
the strange thing is im with adrian flux on the passat and they said the lowest they could qoute was 1400 for the evo dont understand how these companies work
i think rather than sell it i would rather keep it for a year and insure it when 25, coz the chance me being able to afford to buy another evo is slim

Now your talking my language buddy!!!

The thing about the evo having a higher premium then the passat is 150+ more horses, more likely to lose control, more likely to hit other drivers, they could be in a Bugatti Veron....... some-one might pinch it.......
The reason why the Passat is cheaper is because you have to pay some-one to pinch it!!!;)

Listen to your partner, but make sure you park the evo some where safe, preferably indoors and start it every 2 to 3 days and don't rev it, just let it run for a half hour, also leave the hand brake down and never push the clutch in whilst the temperature is lower than half way.

Speak to you soon buddy.

I think you are the first to have had a problem with them!

Try to speak to someone there that is not a complete clown.

Keep me posted Buddy.
