You need to try the specialist firms like adrian flux, admiral performance, keith michaels etc...

Hi budd! Limited mileage and social & demes tic use only will bring it down abit! I use a plan who do something called exsess protect for about £60 which Means I can have £1000 exsess but if I have a claim they will refund me the exsess! So higher exsess brings premium down! :) I'm 30 with 6 points and a fault accident with 10+ no claims and pat £ 784 still! Good luck

+ 1 on using Aplan insurance. Been with them for 4 years. Had a non fault claim couple years ago with no issues at all :)

Thanks for the help guys...Ive decided im going to wait until December to get one as I turn 25 in december and it brings it down a hell of a lot.
But if I was to take a policy out now the insurers wouldnt lower the cost in december so the price would be fixed for a year which I think is rediculous :(

But it gives me more time to find the perfect car too :)

When I had my EK4 civic, it was costing me £750 fully comp. I could have got insurance cheaper on a supra!

I was with flux for 4years and they gave me a quote on the evo which i was gonna take, but when it come to it they shoved another £200 on to the price..

So phoned up sky and they gave me a better deal on my policey.
Im 35, full ncb, 3points, mods declaired, £638 fully comp..

It does pay to shop around, and waiting them couple of months is well worth it...

I was same. Was paying £750 fully comp all mods declared, then they wanted near £1k on the renewal, for a 1.6 civic!!!!!! My mate was gonna buy my civic off me, he was paying £400 for a supra twin turbo, they wanted £700 for the civic
