Strange, like the bovs give mega horse power and all lol

Yeh mate exactly! And I even tried reasoning with them saying that all turbo cars had them as standard and this was just a different kind.. Still wouldnt have it though:mad:

i rang Aplan and said i was looking to buy a standard dc2 uk spec and they quoted me £720 full comp Dan Cameron who works there then told me if it was modified in anyway it would possibly be cheaper ??

so he did another quote and i said it had aem intake system and spoon n1 exhaust and meister r suspension he then quoted me £590 full comp ????

i really dont understand insurance but they seem to be the cheapest for me ;)

Insurance is crazy. I got a quote for 10k with me and wife (she was only just passed a test 10 days ago),and then I put me alone and it shot upto 12.5k!

I was paying less for insurance when I was 19 and had points on my license.

Insurance is mad.

I told them I had done some styling and they wernt too fussed as I haven't got much of any substantial value on it as for performance I have simply replaced parts that have failed with better ones :) fuel pump needed replacing, recirc valve was leaking, cat was blowing so just got rid of it, boost solenoid was unresponsive so put a manual one on and the filter needed replacing so got rid of the box, oh dear now it runs like a bag of nails so I need to re program te cars computer :)

That's what I was hoping lol, if they ask it's running standard power and is they want to pay to stick in on the rollers I'll be pleasantly surprised lol

When I was with admiral they did cover mods, it was s*it though because they charged me £30 extra which was good! but then I found out it was a maximum of £500 cover, good if you have a few bits, crap if you have had loads of work done... that was over a year ago now though
