inlet manifolds/

i have been looking at getting a polished free flowing inlet manifold for my evo 4.
1. is this a worthwhile mod,
2. or could i get the same gains from the likes of a 7.8.9. inlet,(if they fit)

i and many others are running 500bhp with standard manifold and to be honest unless your gonna port the head then its a waist of time as the standard ports are very well matched

Not if you can't open the manifold to match it

yeah the standard manifold is good for over 500bhp, if you really wanted too you could smooth the inside to remove the casting marks.
