Im going to look at a evo 8 this weekend, it has full service history but i know nothing about them what should i be looking at? Can i pay some pro company to look at it for me?

wheres the car???? mark shead offered to look at a car the other week for the small fee of 1hrs labour, i think thats a very good offer but depends where the car is??

Its 90 miles away from sunderland and no offence but id rather go threw a company who deals with this kind of business, and its in a garage, youngy told me to stay away as its evans halshaw but thats why im asking these questions. Peace of mind.

Evans halshaw are pretty decent and are thuroigh with their psi's (pre sale inspection) and their pdi's pre delivery inspection so I would have thought as long as the history is there and its serviced and mot'd up you should be ok

No prob mate subtle difference but there is no fq plack in front of the gearstick. One thing I did learn from when buying mine from a non ralliart know all is dealers usually don't have a clue what they are selling and reg checks only say lancer 2.0 usually

I would be careful buying from Evans halshaw got my car from there wasn't happy about a few things but luckily solved it after a few angry emails...

Also they tend to take the cars off if they don't sell move them to another if there dealerships and put it back on for a higher price. I know that cause I got a customer of mine who works there etc
