Looking to buy a air flow-induction kit so what else do you need to buy when it says does not fit directly on a fq with a hks hard pipe

Firstly when buying a kit not specifically for eco make sure it flows enough air for the cars power, first one I fitted left the car gasping for air up in the revs. You will need a maf adaptor plate as when you unbolt the air box you will have a flat face which you can't do anything with. And when you get the adaptor make sure it's the right size diameter for the filter and get a silicon coupling too. Hks reloaded filters are what is usuallyused and they come with the fitting kit for around 150 if I remember rightly

Quite right Craig!

HKS SPF Reloaded is a good one but you need to make sure you buy a genuine item and not the cheap fake Taiwanese types that are readily available on eBay for under £70.00

M's Filter by K&N is the best on the market in my opinion but they are quite hard to find...
