In need of a turbo!!

Hi people.my turbo in evo4 1996,recently went pop an was hoping somebody might know where I could get 1 from??lookin to spend around 600 and a further 200 on intake pipes etc,etc..preferably new or decent part used acceptable!!your help would be hugely appreciated.

Unless you've had an engine build done or had it changed for a later model then I'd stick to the standard turbo as the 4 engine doesn't like extra power.

There is a guy on here selling a complete E6 RS turbo in full working order for £200 in the for sale section.

turbo technics rebuild my s204 for £245 and they collected and delivered free of charge came back as a new tubo it went throiugh an 8hr high presure and ultra sonic cleaning process

Thanks for replys.turbo technics sounds a good option but not sure weather mine is beyond repair or not.my evo currently hits a limit at 120mph but it gets there mega quick,any ideas how to get more top end anyone??is it a new gearbox job or ???sorry still learning

Do you have an RS box in your evo? Should not top out at 120 unless you an RS box.

Not sure what turbo is in there yet phil.only had the fan off so I could feel the play on turbo.!but it's defo popped as I was followed by a whole lot of blue smoke

oil seals blew so replaced those and bushes
