Imported EVO X SST

Hi,
Imported (from new) the above. Have had intermittant engine management light. Mitsubishi agent cannot figure out why and as the car is an import, basically U.K. technical doesn't want to know. Has anyone else encountered the same problem?

A friend had alomst the same problem on a evo 6 import, it was about 6 years ago though.
his problem at the time was due to uk fuel quality very strange i know,
but im sure after a few full tanks of super unleaded it sorted its self out.
just an idea or area to look into?
