import or uk?

hi guys,
as probably 2 of you know (lol) im saving up for my 1st evo, i sold the scooby turbo, now im working 6 days a week to try and get my new baby!
what i was wondering are all evo 8s imports? obv they're jap but is there a uk spec version? iv read the fq300 is uk, not that im particularly bothered but if its gonna make a difference in terms of maintenance, parts or insurance then id rather go uk.

Evo 1-6 import 7-10 are uk spec.

They all guzzle and they all shift. Insurance may be a little easier on the UK spec but the Jap ones run faster and fresh imports come gizmo prepared.

prefer the imports all day long for performance.
insurance a pain tho!
