Hi all.

Had my EVO 9 fq340 for a week now and drives spot on but when idle she revs a little then drops to normal. So decided to delve under the bonnet etc, first thing I noticed was its got a HKS super dragger system and the cat looks like its been put back on as there is more than enough tell tale signs. Secondly it looks like the induction kit has been put back to standard as there are signs of this, she has a twinplate excedy clutch just put in aswell Now the question is if it was mapped when all this was done.... Then the cat and standard induction were put back on.... Would this cause the slight idleing issue? Doesn't happen all the time... Just now and then.

Thanks in advanced peops.
Darren.

You can get the map looked at to see if it's been changed!!

Idle issue is usually because the battery has been disconnected and needs reseting or you have a slight air/vac leak.

Have you checked your lamba sensor as when these start to go they cause erratic idle issues sometimes and also if you a lot of carbon build up in he throttle body this causes idle issues being erratic.
