idle control valve

hi lads and lassys and you lee;) can any body tell me if a vii throttle body idle control valve fit and work on a iv inlet manifold as my iv one i think is down:mad:not had much luck with this car:cry::wtf:

I wish people wouldn't post if they don't know the facts. No it won't fit. The 7/8/9's are different and shallower than the 4/5/6.

Ah well be like that then u ain't gonna get any mates like that and only get there back up

There would be no harm just saying sorry rob the 456 are diff from 789 in design

No, it wont fit, there is a nicer way to do and say things Steve.

My point i was trying to make was that too many people/members just write 'i don't know, sorry' or just make up an answer, which gives an alluded view on where the right answer is. I'd rather it be harsh and have facts than a mollycoddled view just to make people happy.
