I had a fun trip to work this morning in the snow

Finally I had my moments of what the evo can do about the snow...here in east Anglian (Norwich) Last tues..nobody beats the evo...could easily pass thru the snow and block ice...really no regrets of having one...

Dont forget its only an all wheel drive car.. Some people seem to think ooh i have awd/4x4 and its a tank. This they are not.. Go you out in the snow and put its through its pace's and let us know how you and the tow truck get on..

Yeah your not wrong. 4wd goes and turns better in snow but you still can't stop for shit.

regardless of what you have awd or 4x4 It really doesn't matter...
as long as you drive it sensibly and with utmost carefulness..plus you consider the others
around you....then I think it's fine..and driving the evo or anything for that matter will be an
advantage...

Could do with studded tyres really..summer tyres in the snow are awful wouldn't matter what you were driving. Granted the evo does have good grip and can be lots of fun but still have to be very carful.

Least the ride height isn't to bad on your x, sure I helped the council out at some point today.. The splitter was a carbon snow plow

Same trouble i got. Plus with a summer tyre that only has 2.5mm tread with no groves going across the width of the tyre mean bugger all traction

Still went out and done some ploughing and a spot of drifting though

I did a 100 mile journey back to Luton tonight with no problem at all, I dnt get why people can't drive in the snow
