I was a scooby owner, so was brought up to believe Scoobs are better than evos.

But in the back of mind were the doubts, and truth that evos are superior.

I wasn't wrong :D

My mate said he was looking at buying a scooby, and then a light turned on above my head...

Yeah the rally heritage did it for me as well. Funny though as I've never wanted a scooby despite being a massive fan of Colin RIP McRae.

But I've always know the Evo was a peg above.

You don't know anything Billy!

I bought:

1. Because it was cheap and I was going to break it

2. Because it was cheap and I was going to make a few quid on it

Ended up keeping both because they're awesome lol!

Her in doors would not let me spend all my money on a old car (cosworth) so looked at Evo's. It was like a love story Love at first test drive. Never driven a performance car before. Still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

For the price nothing I could find matches the performance it offers with 4 doors and a boot and 4wd.. living in rural area that was a key point. And it was dirt cheap clean low mileage couldn't say no! (Standard 8 gsr) the Mrs loves it and so do the kids haha family seem to think I should get a practical car witch infuriates me whats not practical about an evo!?

I wanted one for a long time-and then personal circumstances made me realise that you never know what's around the corner so if you want something and you can afford it then go for it-it's only an Evo V - but I've owned it for nearly 3 years and I AKWAYS look forward to driving it -just wish I'd bought one sooner.
