how to remove aircon rad on e4?

how easy is it to remove the aircon rad on an evo4? ive had my aircon removed by previous owners but for some reason they haven"t bother to remove the rad! thanks

Its really easy but you do have to take the cooling rad out first. Pull that out the way and then the air con rad is just 2 bolts.

As said above.
Remove rad, if you have enough room just unbolt and move to access aircon rad bolts. Or remove altogether.
Any of the pipes still there? Can be removed too....

yeah there"s no pipes or anything just the rad left on.am i right in thinking i"ll have to drain then refill coolant to do it? thanks.

You will have to drain at least some. You might get away with just removing the top hose if youve got a standard thickness rad. If youve got a bigger rad youll need to disconnect the bottom hose and remove it completely to make space.

As said above. I'm running a slim race rad. So could get away with removing mounts and moving forwards without draining at all.
