I changed the steering wheel to an after market deep dish with a small hub and snap off hub I cut the white block off that clips into the air bag thing

It should be a red block to clock spring. Spring to airbag.
No need to cut anything. Just unplug the airbag and horn cable from the red block. Remove clock spring aswell.
Whatever you have cut is wrong I think

Aha.

Something I must have missed on the other post!

The squib has been cut?

Big no, no...

Replace the Squib with the car on a level surface and the wheels dead straight. Stick the old steering wheel on at this time if you still have it in order to ensure that all DTC's can be cleared before you do the swap over.

DO NOT CUT ANYTHING AT ALL. JUST UNPLUG ONLY.

Followed a how to guide and says to fit a resistor to stop the airbag light coming on and to wire up the horn. If lees diff is knackered somehow then he'll have mine. I'm sure the 2 combined will work haha!
