Considering the various requests on how to do it yourself and the prices to have minor work carried out at the ridiculous prices that members have been getting charged by their local grease monkeys, I think it is only fair that I start an online "how to do it" workshop here on the forum and then collate all the step by step instructions into a category that will be easily accessible via the forum jump.

This will require minimum work from myself as it all sprawls out from the peanut to the keyboard quite quickly!!!!

The maximum effort will be required on the part of NICK, hopefully he is willing enough but I know that he already has a heavy work load so the begging will start from tonight;)

I have already given various step by step instructions before but they are all over the place in various threads that even I have trouble keeping track of!!!!

I will start by cutting and pasting my how to bleed the brakes from tomorrow evening and will try to include photos where necessary so that even the novice can keep up.

The most expensive of oil services is usually best done on the ramp by a professional (although, if you have access to a ramp then I am sure you could do it just as well!!!) such as the Dif, transfer and Gear oils as the car needs to be level for these fluids to be drained correctly and for this type of service I will arrange meets in various towns where I have contacts with garages and I will also try to arrange work shops on the allocated days to go over some of these online workshops face to face!!!

Let me know what your thoughts are on this and we can take it from there.

For now, keep an eye out for the first workshop that should go live by 9pm.
