How much of boost evo4 can handle?

It's been running like that for 2 years now. The thing is I bought the car like that, so the mods where done before me. So i guess the best choice for me is to change the block to e7 and forge it.

If it has been running like that for 2 years then it probably already has uprated rods and pistons. 1bar on a gt35 is a lot of power for a standard 4 engine.

Although saying that, if it was uprated then they would've tuned it with more than 1bar of boost.

why spend thousands rebuilding/changing an engine that works unless it failed. Its not as if you could sell the old block for much. Why not use it until it actually needs replacing?

Because the potential to damage other components is greatly increased when you 'blow' an engine. You then need to replace those parts aswell
