How much metal can you skim off the fywheel and still be okay?

I've had 0.2mm skimmed off the surface of my flywheel, this is about the same thickness as two sheets of A4 pieces of paper.

I'm installing a brand new clutch kit but want to use my Fidanza flywheel.

Please no comments on how I should just by a new one

should it be okay or not?

if they mate up all right then they should be fine im always mixing clutch

Spike i wouldn't of thought you could of took any off as you would be making it weaker and more prone to heat warp!

yeah this is a big concern mate, I'm worried about heat warp as well. I bought the Fidanza because it has removable friction plates that only cost 95 quid, I ordered one and the holes don't line up because they have changed the design of the Evo X flywheel

Took a picture of the old one so fidanza know which one I want but I think I've been mugged off.

Seem's the way of the world at the minute mate! People are your best mate before you had the money over and soon as that money leave's your palm they become a complete and utter stranger! Ask Simon@NTS as he has been mugged a few time's and by the same people!:shock:
