OK I am very interested in how many evo's you guy's looked at before you choose the right one? How long did it take you to find the Evo of your dream's? Or may be you haven't found it yet and you are getting pi55ed off not being able to find the evo of your dream's!:arms:

Tell Supamario all about it?:angel:God Is Waiting My Child!;)

Haha.... was dreaming for 10 years plus, changed my career for it, made a deal with devil so the first one I saw I bought. im pretty lucky though, saw it in the dark, parted with a lot of money but it has turned out to be a decent motor ;) :D

First Evo (VI) bought from Keighly trade centre...say no more

Next one took a good few months of searching and researching models etc, looked at a good 10 before I settled on the one ;)

I looked at 4 or 5 at different traders then saw mine in Blackburn(a 5ish hour drive away),got a Defra check done on it then got persuaded a mate to drive me there and pick it up,so didn't see it in person till then, very happy with it tho.

It was the first one i looked at, my mate had it sat on a building site with 10ton of sand poured over the boot lid blocking it in, when i saw it i thought i can rescue this also it had no mot no tax 4 bold tyres and a knackered clutch so i kicked him in the nuts bought it and discovered it had a genuine 23k and was no500 of uk cars, fixed it and have never looked at anymore since

I had a list of nearly 10. I quickly found that most dealers don't know Roman numerals and a gsr from an fq. I settled for a bog standard one in the end the first few all had sensible mods

won the car twice but didnt meet the reserve , made a offer and was turned down , it was listed again so bid again , won it again but didnt meet the reserve ,then seller sent me a second chance to buy and i got it for less than i offered :0)

still going strong after 3 years .

It took me around 4 months to find mine and atleast 5 or 6 different ones before I found it.. I even thought... "Coughs" about going back to another Impreza... So glad I didn't get another Impreza.. :)

Was away for seven months and began scanning the sites. Was seeing what's about. Intended to buy in Feb or march time. Found a nice red one agreed deal then went cold. Seen a nice grey one made offer and turned it down, red owner got back to me so agreed to go see it then went cold again, got a text off grey owner saying can have it for my offer. Flew to northern Ireland two weeks later. Defo made right choice

Saw it on auto trader and bought it within a day.
Probably should of driven more, but there weren't any others around at the time, and my 182 Clio had to go

for my first evo i think i spent 2 months trailing the internet everyday for info and checking out the latest cars. then choose my favorite and drove the 3hrs to bedford to view it, loved it but couldnt commit there and then so went away to think about it before laying out my hard earned. did some more research viewing peoples profiles and history etc

then a week later i went back and got it :)

Spent 6 months looking, almost bought 2 that I looked at but couldn't quite get the right deal, travelled 400 mile trip to find one not as advertised... Gave up until New Year's Eve when local dealer got a low mile manual X and I happened to see it go up on autotrader, first to see the car, deposit paid, several people begging the dealer to let it go to them after :)

1st one I saw!
Broke all the rules - no research on them, didnt know what model it was or what to look out for.

Bought it just 'cause it was a garage up the road and nearby.

Traded in my Cupra K1 for it.

Now sorting out the gremlins that came with the car.

On the whole - I like the car and keen to get it running and driving as it should.

It went back to the garage in first 2 weeks as first thing I did was get it serviced which revealed a few nasties the dealer (or previous owner) had covered up.

If I decide to change to another Evo in future will do a little more searching around as understand the cars more now but on the whole will be a great car when fixed up and desireable if I sell on
