Well under tray came lose other day, so went to local rent a ramp back home, had it on ramp and took it off. Was looking underneath, it's going to get undersealed soon, and I was thinking I could give the rest a lick of paint. Just bit tidied. Is that too far?! Can't decide! Just think ok no one would see it but I enjoy messing about and I have a month off soon so could do it then

Thoughts?!

You might as well. There's always folk asking for underneath pics when your selling.

I would never buy a car covered in black underseal unless there were a lot of very good pictures of before it was applied as it could be covering any amount of rust or even damage.
When I bought my 5 there was no underseal at all so as I was planning to use it in all weathers I had to get it sorted assoon as.
There was nothing but light speckles of orange starting to form in the spare wheel well and other places here and there but Martin who did the work took off all the bumpers, exhaust etc. washed it, cleaned up all the rust and painted it before covering it all in clear Waxoil.
Nearly a year on it is pretty manky looking as it is caked in dirt but you can still see the fresh metal through it ;)
