how do you remove snapped locking wheel nut?

Hey everyone

Can someone tell me how do I remove a Locking nut which has snapped off.
I have a puncture so I needed to change my wheel, The first nut I undone was the locking nut and it came straigh off.

Can someone tell me how I can remove it now?. went to a garage and they wanted £108 for 2 hours labour.

Any help would be great. Need the get the wheel off as I have a puncture

I think you will struggle to get that off. Normally you are able to knock a socket over the top and undo it, but, yours has not much left for the socket to grip...

this happend to me with a brand new set of lockers from demon tweeks so i went back to them and they welded a nut onto the snapped bit and got it off that way, but you nut channel looks far too deep so ..

That bit left must be on there tight for it to snap like that..

The thing is I never over tight the lockers. these looks like mcgard style nuts. I undid the others to check how much is left and the bit that has snapped seems to be about about 3-4mm left.

All you could try is getting a small drill and drill a hole through the last bit, plenty of wd40 then try to gently tap it round if you can.

Will try drilling tomorrow. Will drill into the snapped head to see how easy it is to drill

cant you hammer a socket on it???
