Not quite 92 for you

AKI is normally 4-5 points lower than the RON
So your 94 would be 98/99 RON

Basically you'd need to run the best fuel you can get hold of on a std map. You can run lower rated fuel but it can cause problems over time. As the evo engine is highly tuned to reach the performance they put out. So the tolerances are very small....

So you not gonna get any 5's or 6's then as they are less than 15 years old!!!

Nope the 5 and 6 are definately off the list

If you were in my position, you bought the car and were here in Canada. What step would you take next for fuel. I know you have said get a remap but I'm not sure who could. Could a local company that does remap for other cars have the capability or should I send it away to a more experienced person. Potentially do myself?

Or is there aftermarket electronics that would assist me with this?

Thanks as always!

I know what I should do, I'll send the ecu with my wife when she goes to Ireland in November and she can get one of you to help me remap the ecu :D lol . Just no funny business with my wife, she's very cute

If your system is aki you would be fine to run the best fuel you can get on the standard map. Maybe put an octane booster in as well just to be on the safe side.

It would be an option to bring the ecu over but not a good one. All cars are different as are the enviroment there in. So mapping the ecu here would be no good. Apart from the fact you cannot map the 4 ecu :(
You could get an aftermarket ecu to remap but cost wise I wouldn't. As said you can run the best fuel you can get hold of and maybe run an octane booster
