How difficult is it too???

I have been wanting to de-tango my headlights for a while on my VIII,

I have been reluctant to doing it as i dont want to have condensation on them, after they havent sealed properly.

I once did a paid on my old Seat leon cupra r and as soon as abit of moisture got into the headlight misted up.

whats the best way to go about it?

Believe there are a couple of companys that will do it for you. I did mine myself after googling it and finding a couple of tutorials. No condensation in mine.

did you pull all the old glue out and use new sealant? i was told to reheat the old glue and refit, but this could be why im having problems i.e not sealing 100%

I removed the old sealant which was an absolute nightmare of a job!!! Then used new stuff. If you reheat your headlights you should be able to get a proper seal.

Thats a tad steep lol, i might just leave them be and use the £90 else where haha

Well it saves messing them up, it's one of many expensive things to modify a evo.

I say on a car like these, if you wanna do something do it the right way the first time.

I thought about mine then you look on the MLR and everyone has it done

It's really not difficult, just time consuming. Plenty of guides about. TBH if I'd known that Craig at DD did it I would gladly have paid the £90 or so, after all you can easily spend that on a night on the ale.
