How a really good day can turn bad in a matter of miles

He has just finished a forged build and think the turbo went pop on the way back from the final map

400 PLUS ON 1.4 BARS HUMMM, HOPE UR ENGINE IS FORGED MATE OR IT WILL GO POP ASWELL

Yeah fully forged had just built it had just done 1000 mile run in and was fine got it remapped and pop went the turbo after just 30 miles well that taught me a valuable lesson dont buy second hand turbos!!!

sorry to hear that mate, was going to ask if u want to buy my turbo but looks like u dont trust second hand ones anymore.. dont blame u , good luck with ur car mate, u are close to me mate, we should cruise sometimes

You cant go wrong wit the 209 great little turbo, had one on mine for a good few years now, running 337bhp at wheels and the torque slightly higher at 1.6/7 bar.... was running at 2.1 but used far to much fuel on track.... lol!!!!!!!!!

Update Turbo on and runs just gotta get different J pipe which is coming tomoz massive thanks to Dave at MG AUTOS for pulling out the stops at quater to five to get me one and thats it hopefully will be all good on roadtest........ then remap again.......
