Your opinion's on this please!!! My car is going back up to CPP saturday for the AP front and back brake conversion and i am thinking about either more power or suspension upgrade's while it's there:D

So do i go down the route of spending on a nice power package of the HKS 7460 and a set of ID1000 injector's or spend the money on a set of coilover's:angel:

I know it's no good having lot's of power in a car that can't handle it etc etc and i do tend to have the car well over it's standard strut's and Tein spring limit's on the odd occasion i take the car out (don't i simon)

Just wondered who would go for what???;)

The hks tubby won't be massive power but a goo responsive road car. That coupled to a good suspension set up will mate it even better :)

the sensible way will be handling, but then you dont (i think) do track days or sprints so you would have to ask how much you are really going to notice the suspensions bennefits. you only live once mate, throw caution to the wind and get the power hicked up, HKS are simply amazing turbos and you will feel the car will be absolutely transformed, you will seriously appreciated the investment. if you spend on suspension you will not get the same feeling + you can always add suspension at a later date

Living where i live Martin i have no need for sprint's or track day's as i have some very nice quiet B road's;)TBH i think i need suspension first as the car does come very light from time to time if you catch my drift:D

Any Thought's on what is a good all round coilover to go for?:)

i have pretty much used them all mate, ohlins, AST 3 ways, teins, BC etc.. i am now running Sachs adjustable, which i first tried in the evotune sprint car and was blown away. they are in the middle cost wise at around £1500 but i would put them on par with ohlins and nitron. they are so stock like to drive on the roads but so compliant. the problem i had with AST and Ohlins was they were to complicated for me and hard to adjust. the Sachs are seriously worth considering (and i dont sell them so have no gain by saying that)

i just could have an evo without coilovers anymore. also worth considering is firmness, you will find most of the lower end stuff is a harsh ride, even on the lightest of settings
