Just wondering how much this is going to be to sort out. reckon its going to have to be an insurance job. New radiator, panels, grill, etc needed.

If you can mate let the insurance company deal with it!! After all it is a genuine accident and that's why you have insurance!

yeah just wondering about my excess etc. that is prob £500. if the job is only about a £1000, then might not be worth ruining my no claims etc!
but i reckon it could be way more than £1000?

Really depends on the damage behind the bumper, but I'd say go insurance for that.

Only way I reckon you could do sub 1K is get parts from breakers, pay for bodyshop to respray and fit.

New bits plus work through insurance I reckon would be over £1K especially if you need new rad

Its not nice having to repair the car but at the end of the day you were very lucky you never flipped it up the bonnet and in towards you.
Could have been skin and bone rather than plastic getting fixed ;)
