highest boost on subaru sti

whats the highest boost that can be ran on stock internals of a 96 sti impreza?

depends on the turbo ur running, 1.2-1.3 bar should be fine on the standard turbo, 1.3 bar on a GT35 will destroy it LOL

speaking to a friend subaru enthusiast depends on the turbo but 1 bar is stock, internals are rated approx to 340-360 but we all know its the condition of the engine that those figures rely on, speaking from personal experience a car that old i wouldnt be pushing no more than 1.3 through it

There is gauge but it only boosting .8 but there's a boost controller on her so i was wondering how I could crank her up lol

What boost controller is it, .8 is actuator pressure I would have said

Well he has it piped back to standard with the boost controller bypassed and he said when tje boost controller is piped back up she set to 1.3 and the car has a apexi ecu
