Hi Guys,
Nice to know you are local to me

I have 2 cars now that are knackered!

For my EVO IX - Do you have any spcialist diagnostic kit that could diagnose problems without taken it all apart! I have a grinding gearbox, possbly a whining diff and transfer box. Also sound like the turbo is blown

Golf GTI (MK4) - Do you have the VAGCOM stuff? The exhaust emissons light keeps coming on and at times coughs and splutters! So far in between this happening and the codes being reset i've had - new breather pipe, new coilpack, spark plugs and leads. Since the garage I bought it from wont look at it under the warrnaty anymore started looking at stuff myself. Took the whole air filtration system out yesterday. Many of the pipes full of yellow goo so cleaned them out. Cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body put it all back on, fired car up. Now have two lights on the dash! I know the EML needs to be reset with VAGCOM havent looked at what the other light mens yet but looks like a picture of a manual wih an exclamation mark and a circle around it. Dont think thats good but the car does run?

Hi mate as regards your EVO yes we have the latest diagnostic software so we would be able to read it, as with all the other problems if you bring it down to us at some point we will get it on the ramp and have a quick look for free for you.

With the golf if you'd like we could try and get into it with our diagnostic equiptment as we have the very top of the line carmen dignostic tool that does almost anything.
