Hi, im Dan i just picked up an Evo 4 this week

finally made the jump from N/A to turbo and loving every min of it so far, i have been a ford guy for years and never owned anything else

i had a Fiesta ST before the Evo, it was a road going trackday toy running 200BHP

i have a few bits i want to do to the Evo, firstly i want to get the quietest exhaust you can get so im never worried about noise tests on trackdays

and secondly, i would like to make it chatter a bit more, it has an external dum valve and im thinking of blocking it off. im new to turbos so not sure how to go about it

any help would be brilliant

Don't go blocking it off turbo stall is not good for a turbo it was a done thing by the Ford boys but turbo's don't come cheap and you will suffer lag

a little bit of chatter wont hurt see if the dump valve is adjustable if it is tighten it a little.
