Hi, just picked my firsts evo!!!

Hi, I have just brought my first evo

It's and 8 mr fq340

Few little issues

First is the dash lights

Abs,engine management, batt, oil and hand brake

Are visible when car is off then start car they go bright then dim to as if the car was off again

Spoke to evo garage and they it's normal???

Is there anything I can do so there not so bright(so they look like there off) cause its hard to tell if any of the lights actually come on


Also a wheel bearing( not to worried)

And SQUEAKY brakes been told that the cheaper pads and disc cause this, is it true??

Welcome along mate. Yes squeaky brakes are because they are brembosmainly. Yh the dash lights go dim while driving but warning lights are bright as expected

Hi and welcome. As craig has said, normal for them to show. It's the way mitsi have done the speedo, makes them look as though they're on! I've thought they're on a few times

Just gave it a wash to take pics and




It pissed down

on startup all 3 should light up fella, that is one of the reason why people sell....
can't wait to see some pictures

No it's nothing to do with the posts.
Did you copy the img link code from photo b and paste it to a reply on here ?
