Welcome!
Good arent they ;)

First thing to do is a remove the cat and get it mapped to accomodate that.
If you want to go a bit more you could do the full exhaust system, air intake, then onwards!
But the very first is defiantly remove the cat. The change is excellent.

Good luck with the new car mate,, As far as plugs go, I just use standard plugs NGK PBR7ES in my e4, stay away from dear plugs as these are just rebranded ngk etc plugs with the likes of hks on them, As long as the plugs are gap'd correctly it shouldnt matter,,

But thats just my 2pence worth maybe somebody with a little more knowledge could share sum light on the plugs subject??7

Hi mate i have a full 3" exhaust system form turbo back, I just put the cat in come mot time,,,

A good place to start is the induction of the car, A good exhaust and removing the standard airbox and replacing with a good filter will help a hell of a lot,,

id say there alone u will release a few bhp.. maybe 15_20!!! Id might not sound much but its enough and the car will be alot less restrictive with the old standard parts on,

Talking about good filters, i have for sale a Hks Super Power Flow (Spf) 200-80mm Brand New that im going to put on the for sale section soon,,,,

I would have to agree. Again no real scientific testing but I do believe it.

Regarding the cat. People just pop a cat back on for the MOT time. A 'sport' cat could be a compromise though I would go the whole hog.
