hi I live in rainham kent own a Subaru classic at present selling the car in the next few weeks and going to purchase an evo undecided 6/7/8 so looking for info about which one to buy and hopefully get some good advice of what to look for

Personally, I would go for a VI as they are more hard core but failing that, the VIII is a good choice.

No point in looking at the VII's, they are good but the VIII is better, particularly if you have the funds available to hand.
