Hi guys i am a newbie and im looking for an evo4,5,or6 i have £7000 to spend but not sure what to buy please can you help with advice !!! i have been and looked at a 1996 evo4 for £4000 but its done 90,000miles too much what do i look for ! cheers Steve

Hey, welcome to the site.. £4000 seems a lot, but as long as it checks out ok and has a good service history should be ok.. For £7k id look out for a cheap 7 or a mid mile 6

Iv seen wot luks to be an imaculate evo6 tommi edition at around the 7k mark,cud b worth checkin out,also look on extreme uk website,that's where I got mine from.

If i was you id buy a 5 .. you can get a clean low mileage 5 for that money with a few mods and its better than a 4 imo in a reliability sense.. £7000 will get you a 6 but over the 60-70000 mark and lets face it theres not alot of difference between the 2

If this is your first Evo id stay away from the 90000 examples tbh have a look in the for sale section of the MLR thats your best bet
