Hi and welcome to the club
Good luck with the search and the quotes.
An engine for the supra?? They don't normally go wrong! What happened?

welcome mate.
personally id go for a v too. but i am also biased.
i am only 22 and i managed to get insurance on my v for only £1380. that quote was the same for elephant and admiral. i found alot of places wont quote you until you are over 25 im afraid.
good luck with the hunting though![]()
Welcome!
welcome rob!
I have a modified IV but if I was to get one today I would go for a white 7 or 8. However I also promised myself one day I would own a Tommy Makinen special. Check them out . A freind of mine was bang into Evos before me and he always goes on about them
Ah, I see. You going to sell the manual box Rob? I might be tempted as thinking of getting me Dad a gs300 but he doesn't like auto's!! So I thought I might convert one into a manual for him. He can't complain about the box then![]()
I will be but it wont be a complete conversion.
It'll basically be the w58 box, clutch and flywheel, clutch slave and starter.
I'm only using half of my prop as I need to match up half a prop from a R154 and the other half from a mkiv. I'm not entirely sure if you could do the same and use the auto diff? If you could you'd basically need a clutch pedal , clutch master and clutch line/flexi but obviously you may find your final drive a bit out
Depending on what year GS you buy, you could take my engine ecu and loom to as its a 5-speed but not entirely sure if the GS and NA Supra uses the same loom, I've got a feeling theres a few difference's![]()
Hi mate and Welcome!! Hope all goes well for you.
I need to do some homework on this and find out what needs changing.
Good luck with the conversion though. Did you get a complete tt engine?
I will be but it........................Depending on what year GS you buy, you could take my engine ecu and loom to as its a 5-speed but not entirely sure if the GS and NA Supra uses the same loom, I've got a feeling theres a few difference's![]()
