Hi all, well finally i have decided to come into Evo ownership. having been a member of the mkivsupra forum for over 4 years its no surprise that japanese performance is the way to go. i used to own a single turbo 600hp+ supra which i loved and cherished but as i progressed through uni and into working life i matured up and let her go (worst decision of my life) now however life is stable and i need fun back into my life so my work horse and awesome pick up truck needs to go and a powerful Evo needs to come back. Obviously nothing will match the supra (being brave here on a evo forum) but i have always always always wanted to experience the hype of an Evo and hopefully now i will.

this is the link to to my truck on pistonheads. i rather swap with a forum owned car rather than outsiders because atleast theres a sense of trust and truthfulness.

anyways guys im really happy to be here and looking forward to get involved.

heres a pic and video of my supra when she was only 550hp enjoy:-

Funny you should say that, I believe it's the size of the balls of the driver as compared to the difference in cars n weather :) lol. In all honesty I have nothing but love for the supra and next year going to build another beast, until u haven't experienced one in single turbo conversion, u will never know wat brute force that car is actually capable of.

Only messing, I had a Celica gt4 aswell @ 400hp, that car was an absolute laugh to drive, I think what's pulling me to the Evo is the practicality, 4 doors, big boot and can still have a laugh in it when I decide all of a sudden I'm 10 years old.

Hi and welcome. Very nice supra you had there :) I've had quite a few supra's myself but not experienced a single turbo! :(

Nice Supra.

Especially loved the sandwiches rolling around in the passenger foot well, they enjoyed the trip :)

Where are you based, you dont say, we might be able to help track down some local forum members or places to pick one up from :)

thats not sandwiches, its a bottle of water, it was like 30 degrees that day and we werent allowed to open windows much plus, if i opened the window the draft would be so loud you wouldnt be able to hear the car! lol

im based in ilford, east london. had a spin yesterday in a mildly tuned Evo 8. lovely car but after i drove it i can see myself in about a years time selling it for a rwd car, not a huge fan of 4wd but other than that the car was a hoot to drive, really punchy through the gears, boost was coming in nicely, wasnt laggy as compared to everything i have been reading. cant wait honestly to get one.
