Is this the same IX that you are referring to on the other thread???

The thing with the repo cars is that in most cases you do not get any history with the car and in every case you do not get to speak to owner that can clarify things for you.

The car might be cheap but it could well have some dark secrets that will no doubt start rearing their heads a few days after the car has been bought.

yeh the history isnt great its just been serviced by the new owner but has now peviouse! im gonna ring mitsubishi today to see if i can trace it! it does sound a bit dodgy but if i can trace it all it should be ok! also speaking to extreme motors uk they hav said this 320 on the car n 300 on the log book is common (mitsubishi uk say its a 320)and said they do make a slight noise when driving! This is me being extremely picky!

thanks alot for this m8 u hav been realy helpful

I would keep away from this one buddy.

You will find one that is in better condition. My brother has an Extreme, they do not make any noise when driving. I have had plenty of Evo's, never heard of such a thing.

Why don't you go and test drive one at a used dealership and see if the same noise can be heard on a IX????

If any thing, you will get a feel of what to look out for.

No head ache and no pain Marc!!!

It's what we are here for. To make sure that you get the best deal possible and don't end up in a nightmare situation.

I would have told you about the fuel pump before but to be honest with you, the fuel pump will make a noise from when you start the car to when you turn it off. I though you said that the car makes a noise when driving. naturally I presumed it was only when driving as that is a tell tale sign of the dif on it's way out.
