Help with using ACD on evo 7

Hi i've recently bought an evo 7 and i'm trying to get as much knowledge on the car as possible. Just want to know when it is safe to change the settings on the ACD. I mean should the car be at a stop or is it safe to change the settings while the car is moving. Also can the setting be changed when the car is stopped with the handbrake up or down because i have been told that you shouldn't change the setting when the handbrake is up because it can mess up the sensors. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks

Iv got an evo8 mate n I jus change the settings when I'm driving to suit the conditions n mines bin fine,I ant heard that about changing it with the handbrake on,cnt c how it wud mess the sensors up realy as it would just sense you we're stationary.I woul say your fine to change the settins weneva realy
